Q: What circuits can you build?

A: Most of the common fuzz, overdrive and distortion circuits are readily cloneable. Some of the more boutique stuff is less so. I’m also more limited in choruses, delays, phasers, flangers and any other modulation type circuits. Flangers off the hop are going to cost more to build. Anything digital is out of the question.

Q: What can’t/won’t you build?

A: Klons mainly. There are tons of cheap klones out there that sound identical to what I can build and I don’t really enjoy doing them. Also uneconomical builds like DS1’s or SD1’s. Vanilla versions are so cheap to buy used it’s not worth it and I’ll be charging minimum double to build one. Wah pedals are also included in this. Enclosures are expensive to buy and used broken wah’s for cheap are hard to come by. But I can mod your wah.

Q: What Wah mods do you recommend?

A: Honestly, save your money and more the wah pot range until you are happy with it. Plenty of youtube videos on how but as I’m not affiliated with any, I can’t recommend any.

Q: What size are your standard pedals?

A: The vast majority of my pedals will be in a 125B enclosure. These are the dimensions 122 x 66.98 x 39.64mm (4.8 x 2.64 x 1.58")

Q: Can my pedal be built into a smaller enclosure?

A: Not likely for most circuits.

Q: Can you design me a fully custom circuit?

A: Unfortunately no. That’s where my knowledge ends and can try and refer you on to other builders.

Q: What can you do for custom art work?

A: I will work with you and advise what I can and can’t do and try and get you the most suited artwork possible. I will not do anything remotely political.

Q: I see custom jobs on your site, can you build me that exact same pedal?

A: No. Custom work is exactly that and will not be replicated for another customer.

Q: I see pedals built into non-standard enclosures on your site, can you make one just like that for me?

A: Anything you see repurposed out ofFreque a non-standard pedal enclosure is just luck of the draw of what I’ve found and I do not have sources for more.

Q: Do you repair tube amps?

A: No. It’s not my wheelhouse and there are better people suited for the task.

Q: Do you repair solid state amps?

A: I can try. I can’t guarantee much there. Again, there are far better people suited for the task.
